Reigate Heath Golf Club

A unique opportunity to experience the high life in Spain’s golfers’ paradise

One week’s accommodation at a brand new private villa in Manilva, Spain, for up to six people from June 2018. Open or sealed bids for this once-in-a-lifetime experience should be addressed to Bob Cooper, c/o Amanda Godwin at Reigate Heath GC, and the winning bid will be announced at the dinner prior to the live auction itself.

Owned by a member, this fabulous opportunity is for one week’s accommodation at a brand new architect designed villa in Manilva on the Costa del Sol, due for completion early in 2018.

The villa has a master double bedroom with its own en suite bathroom, and further two double bedrooms with a bathroom on the first floor, and a shower room on the ground floor. This villa will comfortably sleep up to six guests.

There is an open plan living-dining area, modern fully fitted kitchen. The wonderful terraces access the garden with private swimming pool (not heated) and offer panoramic views of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa, with inland views of the Almenara mountains. It has two secure parking spaces.

Manilva is a five minute drive from the marinas at Sotogrande and La Duquese, with plenty of shops and restaurants, and numerous beaches between the two. A little further afield is the lovely traditional Spanish town of Estepona, host of many festivals, with numerous tapas restaurants and local markets.

The villa is genuinely in a golfer’s paradise, with some of the best golf courses in Spain that could form part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience for six people: Sotogrande (2nd), Valderamma (3rd), Finca Cortesin (5th), La Reserva (15th) and San Roque Old (20th), and a further nine courses are less than 15 minutes’ drive away.

Sotogrande Polo Club hosts around 20 tournaments a year, and nearby are plenty of horse riding opportunities. Gibraltar and the cities of Jerez, Seville and Ronda offer fantastic day trips, and there are extensive walking, caving and climbing opportunities  in the mountains and along the coast.

As Malaga airport is just over one hour drive, and Gibraltar 20 minutes, renting a car is strongly recommended. We will request a holding deposit to cover any breakages, but other than that, there are no other costs like the utilities for the week’s accommodation.
