Clifford Gough

Cliff started his career at West Hill in 1999 before moving to Sutton Green in 2005 playing tournament golf on a full-time basis. He spent a year working for Setanta Golf, providing expert analysis using the latest technology before returning to West Hill in 2008 as Head Assistant.

Filled with enthusiasm for developing new golfers and improving others, Head Professional Cliff is widely admired for his playing abilities, his expertise in coaching, and his Pro Shop stock and pricing. As a youngster, he always wanted to be a top player, and as a PGA Professional he has many Pro-Am victories and the odd course record under his belt, also claiming he will go a Captain & Pro Match season without defeat. Cliff is also one of the official Surrey coaches, specialising in the Under 12s squad.

As Cliff says, “Being a Surrey County U12's Coach has taught me how to get the best out of the many different personalities young children have, and to get them to see golf as fun!” "You will see many young golfer's on a Saturday in our Academy Programme which I absolutely love running

Leah Roelich

Qualified PGA Professional, is a AQS level 2 certified coach, Surrey Sports Awards Coach of the Year 2014 and has a diploma in Sports Preformance and Excellence . As a 13 year old at Teignmouth GC, Leah Roelich was down to 9 handicap in 2 years, playing for her county, breaking the course record at China Fleet GC and winning her club’s championship several times. Turning professional in 2013, Leah’s heavily involved in the development of Reigate Heath GC’s Junior and Ladies sections.

Roelich comments, “I am so pleased to be based at Reigate Heath. We have fantastic practice facilities, and as our colleagues in The PGA in England (South) found out last August in the club’s first Pro-Am, a very testing nine hole heathland course with superb greens and 18 different tees playable all year round due to the greensand terrain.

“Besides a very strong heritage in Ladies golf – one of the members is the former Curtis Cup player and captain Diane Bailey - what has made Reigate Heath such an ideal appointment for its first lady PGA Professional is the club’s progressive attitude to women in golf and a real determination to get more of them into the game. That suits me perfectly!”
